Shipping & Returns Policy

After you order, your basket makes its way through the 30 steps needed to complete the product. Since the announcement of the Peterboro Factory closing, there has been a tremendous demand for baskets.

We ask for your patience as we work through the manufacturing process of these handwoven baskets. Depending on inventory and raw materials, basket orders are being fulfilled as they were received.

We will not shut down communications before your basket has shipped (which is taking a little longer than originally planned.)

Baskets are shipped in the contiguous 48 states for free via UPS ground. If you need expedited delivery please call us at (603) 924-3861 to review your options.

You may return most new items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund*. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 Business Days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 Business Days) and the time it take your bank to process the refund request. However, be aware that the credit card companies can take from 3 days to up to three weeks before you see it back on your credit card.

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.

*Personalizations will not be credited unless it is determined that there was an error by Peterboro Basket Company or its assignees.
