Peterboro Basket was founded in 1854. This year, the Limited Edition 1854 Reproduction Basket is introduced as a celebration of the very first Peterboro Baskets. It is issued in a strict limit of only 100 baskets.
This basket has all the features of a classic Peterboro magazine & knitting basket, such as hardwood durability, natural resistance to moisture, large storage capacity and good looks, plus the hoop is adorned with a ribbon of ash woven for an extra decorative look reminiscent of 19th mid-century basket style.
As a limited edition, this basket comes with a solid hardwood hang tag, stained in a rich cherry finish, lasered with the dates 1854-2022 and a Certificate of Authentication. The basket will be signed and dated on the bottom for verification as a Peterboro Basket original.
This basket is available in Honey, Cherry, Driftwood Gray, and Sage Green finishes, as well as Natural White Ash. It comes with the Peterboro Basket brass medallion and limited lifetime warranty. The basket measures approx.: 18"L x 12"W x 11"H. 16½"H to the top of the handle.
Peterboro Basket Company is the only manufacturer of this “one-of-a-kind” basket design. The basket is handcrafted in the USA from hardwood Appalachian Ash and 100% American-made materials. All of the hardware has been brass coated to help prevent rusting.
