This basket/cooler is worth every penny and then some. I live in southern West Virginia and it pretty much stays beside my door or in my car 10 months out of the year. I've used it for everything you can think of. I've had it for a couple of years now and it looks as good as the day it arrived. The ONLY problem I have with it is making sure no one walks off with it.

i was surprised when i got this basket because i really think i meant to order a different one but i like it alot. its a strong sturdy basket and different from most magazine baskets. i love the place to put a drink and peterboro lined it in green for that added touch. what i really LOVED but i don't see anymore were the 3 lined trash cans with handles. these are great baskets and the liners are heavy duty great price well made i can't say enough good things about those baskets.

this basket is very cute and larger than i expected. st pats is my birthday so i like to decorate. i think i will fill it with hershey kisses. also the top is adorable and very well done.

I too have added this to my Wishlist. I definitely want one, just can't at the moment since I jst purchased several others that I am waiting to arrive. I think this is a great idea for storing toys and to use as a blanket chest. For that reason, I wish it also had a lid, especially a hinged lid. Hint, hint, hint..........

Beautiful basket. Well made and the carvings on the lid were a nice detail along with the flag handle. I bought the Cherry finish basket for my mother and she loved it.

i love peterboro baskets but i have found the one with lids and small nails do not seem to be a great match. the nails have fallen out and are too small for my husband to fix. but i am delighted to see the new large trash can with liner. i love baskets and my husband and i really don't buy each other gifts after 34 yrs of marriage so i will gladly let him pay for these for me and we will both be happy. thanks guys you made my day with those large trash cans. how about making them in a color? i had 3 from yrs ago but my dogs also loved to chew on them so beware. it took so long to get these i will take very good care of them. i also have a med size basket that the lid opens on one side and it has 2 handles. the one you sell thats simular is plain while mine has stars on it. you discontinued it then brought it back and i got another one. i haven't seen it for a while. im surprised it didn't sell like crazy. good kuck to you and yours in 2012.

I bought this cooler maybe 7 years ago. It has been by far my favorite and most useful basket! I have bought one for my sister and my mom as gifts and they also love theirs! Mine has never leaked, it keeps ice for several days! Great for parties as it frees up refrigerator space! Guests love it and always ask where I got it!

Beautiful quality construction like all Peterboro pieces. I searched for the perfect card basket that was handmade in the USA for my wedding reception and this was it! Of course I intend to use it for pies just as soon as I can perfect a pie crust!!

this basket is adorable. i thought it would be something cute for halloween but i was pleasantly surprised when i opened the box. the face is great and i can use the basket without the lid after the holiday. great basket great price.

As much as I love this basket in the Cherry color, I wish that Peterboro would make a plastic liner for this basket. I needed an oblong basket of this size for a side counter to put note pads, pens, calculator, etc in our motorhome. The pens are constantly sliding out of the bottom holes. Maybe Peterboro can make a plastic liner for this basket? The quality is outstanding and the colors are perfect.

Love this basket. I have been giving this basket to all the new brides for their shower present. I include a pie pan, a pie sever, and a 2 quart casserole dish, because it is just the right size for one and that way it will get used more. Everyone wants to know where I get them. So I hope they are giving you more orders to fill. Thank You so much for the fine workmanship that you put into your baskets.

Have had the cooler for a while, however it's only been used a few times. The styrofoam has developed a leak and has leaked all over my kitchen floor. Not happy.

Ordered 2 of these as gifts for friends who are moving away. LOVE them! Very pretty, good-sized and well-made--as all Peterboro baskets are. I am going to paint the lid with our husband's unit crest. Can't wait to see the faces of my friends when they see these baskets!

I purchased a piece of oasis at the hobby store, cut it to fit the bottom of the basket and filled it with red, white and blue silk flowers. I get lots of compliments on my patriotic display. LOVE YOUR BASKETS.

I have a bathroom the size of a postage stamp. This little waste basket fits perfectly between the toilet and sink. My only suggestion would be to make a heavy duty protector like the large round waste basket you make. The protector is in tan and goes all the way to the top of the basket. The optional plastic protector for this basket is only 7 1/2 inches tall and the basket is 12 inches so the protector barely goes half way up.

I bought 3 of these to use as closet organizers. They're absolutely beautiful. Not only are they the perfect size, they're also very sturdy. It's a very versatile basket. I won't hesitate to buy more. Great craftsmanship.

This is a wonderful basket to give as a gift, which I did, but then when I saw it, I had to have one for myself. I have the picnic basket, but this one is perfect for pies and casseroles that have to go somewhere in the car. When I gave it as a gift, everyone who saw it wanted one, too!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT Basket ! My Husband loved it immediately when he opened it Christmas Morning ! Purchased in the Cherry for the vintage look. He has some vintage Cribbage boards and I know this will be the most used and cherished one. Says he'll start playing again & 18yr. sons wants to learn now & play w/him. I take three pies to my daughter's house for Thanksgiving each year. Transporting them from my house to hers, and getting them there without damage, has always been a chore. This basket could not be more PERFECT!!! Plus, it is versatile enough that I know I will use it throughout the year for other purposes. LOVE Peterboro baskets and their no minimum free shipping is such a bonus!

I received my new Peterboro Original Bike Basket in the whitewash color. It looks so great on my light blue cruiser and hooked onto the handlebars just perfectly! This basket is the perfect size and is so useful. I keep it in my car to take along cold drinks and to put frozen groceries items in for the trip home. This is especially helpful when you are making multiple stops. My daughter uses hers to take snacks and drinks to the pool for my two young grandchildren. It's a perfect size.

A highly recommended basket! This baby competes just nicely with any Longaberger basket but wins by a mile in price. There is no way I could ever afford a Longaberger basket this size for the price and the quality is amazing. Purchased it in Cherry and I can't stop admiring it! You will not be disappointed by its generous size and durability. Five stars all the way!

I absolutely love this basket! It comes in handy for my keys, jacket and anything else I might need when I ride my bike. People have actually stopped me to ask where I purchased it. I ordered this basket to deliver cuban sandwiches in as I have started a "mobile Deli" where I pack it full of homeade sammies and deliver them to local businesses on Saturdays. The customers Love the presentation of the basket coming in the door! I am also in Florida and am amazed at how long it keeps ice here with the humidity.

This basket fit my needs perfectly. I bought 2 of these to use for my magazines and books. My coffee table has a shelve underneath where I put the baskets. I have no fear of the baskets scratching my table with the slides that are on the bottom.
