It comes with a strong, heavy-duty, ash wood, stiff handle for ease of carrying the basket to and from the garden and allows the basket to hold up to 100 lbs. of weight. That's a lot of vegetables. If not in use for harvesting, it makes a great tote or storage basket for those hats and mittens when the weather turns cooler.
