We took a classic hand-woven picnic basket and had an insulated cooler insert custom molded to fit perfectly inside. The cooler is made from high-density styrofoam that won’t “pill apart” like inexpensive foam coolers, and it can easily be removed from the basket. The snug-fitting styrofoam top (embossed with the Peterboro Basket name and four cup holder depressions) is bonded on to the basket’s smooth lift-off lid. Two extra coats of lacquer help protect the basket and lid from moisture, and give it a high-gloss furniture finish. Always a wonderful choice to give to newlyweds, the Cool Picnic makes a unique gift for people who seem to have everything.
