Cead Mile Failte (pronounced Kaid-Mee-la-fawl-cha) is v-carved on the basket’s lid and means in Irish, “One Hundred Thousand Welcomes”.  The shamrock, the irish emblem, is attached beneath the phrase.  The shamrock is a three-leafed young clover. This basket is a true collectible.
