The deep hand woven basket has a reinforcing wood platform inside and two solid wood feet attached to the outside bottom for a furniture-quality appearance and extra stability. But here’s the basket’s best feature: a sturdy hardwood crosspiece that’s sanded smooth to serve as a carrying handle. For added convenience, there are cut-outs to hold a beverage and a remote or other handheld electronic device.
